In the late 90s they realized what a niche audience they had in teenage fans. Just so happens teenagers are super susceptible to advertising. And so the partnership was made.

O man justin don't even get me started on the class names. Very confusing, pointless and don't tell new fans anything about the different names. It's horrible exaining the different classes to people.

If the AMA is trying to make money through Supercross Live!, they are doing it the wrong way. All they are doing is killing something that was loved by SX fans everywhere.

Great post Mike. The AMA is so stupid, as noted by the naming of the 250 and 450 classes.
